Urban living in Abuja is not what it was ten years ago, and it will not be what it is now in another ten. WUYE was designed around that fact rather than against it.
The development is organised as three types of convertible apartment blocks — layouts that adapt to different households without the architecture losing its coherence. Spatial efficiency, natural light and finish quality were held as fixed requirements, not things traded away to buy flexibility.
